I just got an e-mail from Subway, they are now serving their gluten free bread. Click on the gluten free link to find participating Subway locations and you can get a 50 cents off coupon through the link too. Also on Wednesday, July 20 when you buy a gluten free sandwich they will give you a regular 6 inch sandwich for free.
The gluten-free sandwich buns come prepacked and individually wrapped. The same worker prepares the sandwich from beginning to end and is trained on how to cut the sandwich buns with a pre-wrapped knife for one time use, to avoid cross-contamination. The bread is made of egg whites, corn starch and tapioca starch.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbour were preparing to do some research about that. We received an excellent ebook on that subject from our nearby library and most books just exactly where not as influensive as your details. I'm very glad to check out this kind of data which I had been looking for a long time. This created very glad Smile.
ReplyDeleteThe link to find the locations leads to Subway's website which does not have any location information. Do you have a list?
ReplyDeleteSubway started a gluten free menu back in January 2011 and to this date they currently have this menu in about 900 locations in the US. These subway locations are located in Dallas and Tyler, Texas, Tacoma, Washington, and are now expanding to the areas of Duluth, Minnesota and Superior, Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteThere are very few locations that have this now, but they are looking to expand. I hope that this helps you out.
So the ingredients you listed above is all there is in Subway's gf buns? I have other allergies, and I have been trying to find out the ingredients. The local store did not have a list of ingredients, and Subway's site does not seem to have them listed yet, either. I hope this is true, because your list works for me.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
