4 Basic Suggestions for Nurturing Your Hair

The good techniques to manage your hair involve buying the best products for your hair, cleaning your hair at the suitable intervals, eating a well-balanced diet, and staying away from excessive heat styling.

Everybody wants to possess healthy and beautiful hair. Unfortunately, not everybody knows how to effectively nurture their hair and this may cause several issues including brittleness, unhealthy hair, and dullness. Listed here are several of the perfect ideas to maintain your hair:

Get the suitable products for your own hair

You can find various hair care items on the marketplace, but some of them have harsh chemical compounds which may not be ideal for your hair. All natural products like argan hair oil are abundant with antioxidants and vitamins, that can aid enhance the structure and health of hair. When selecting hair care products to acquire, think of your hair type and make sure to examine the tag and find out what substances are there. Alcohol is one ingredient that you should avoid since this may dry up hair.

Rinse your hair at the appropriate intervals

Cleansing your hair must be a necessary and also fundamental part of your hair care regimen because this could keep the cleanliness of hair by removing dirt and excess oil from your scalp. But, it’s best to understand your hair type and match your own cleansing routine to it. For example, if you have dry hair then you may not need to shampoo every day since it will only dry your hair out more. On the other hand people who have oily hair could need to wash more frequently to prevent the buildup of oil and dirt. You may need to consider utilising shampoo that uses organic ingredients as well. Don’t forget to apply conditioner after you shampoo or wash your hair. Using conditioner can help keep hair moisturized and healthy.

Eat a well-balanced diet

Eating a healthy and complete diet will have a profound effect on your body as well as the health of your hair. Your hair also really needs enough nutritional supplements for it to keep healthy and look great. Typical hair problems like hair falling out may be due to a lack of protein and zinc in your daily diet. Try to incorporate foods loaded with omega-3 into your daily diet as this is great for the hair. Many of these foods are tuna, walnuts and flaxseed oil. Consuming the correct amount of water will also ensure that your body and your hair are correctly hydrated.

Stay away from excessive heat styling

As much as possible you should stay away from harsh chemical products on your hair, and you should also limit your use of typical heat styling devices including blow dryers and flat irons. These types of equipment can dry out hair, damage it or cause problems like split ends or frizzy hair. In case you should use a hair dryer or flat iron, be sure you set it on low heat or a cool setting. You should also apply a heat protectant or a related product on your hair before using heat styling products.

Achieving beautiful hair won’t happen immediately. But when you devote time and effort to taking care of your hair, it will certainly become one of your best assets.

Lingonberries Market

Lingonberries Market is a local gluten free grocery store in my area.

Their entire gluten-free store offers a wide selection of foods to satisfy your cravings no matter what your dietary restrictions. They also specialize in dairy-free, egg-free, corn-free, soy-free, vegan, and organic foods.

Lingonberries Market carries just about everything that you can think of that is gluten free. I am still learning all that about all the gluten free brands that they carry.

Here are just a few gluten free products that they carry:
  • Udi's Gluten Free Food - I love Udi's Whole Grain Bread, (my favorite bread) their Double Chocolate Chip Muffins and their bagels
  • Namaste Foods - They have great gluten free mixes like, Pizza Crust Mix, Pasta Pisavera, Waffle & Pancake Mix, and their Chocolate Cake Mix, (yum). They even carry some sugar free mixes.
  • Mixes From The Heartland - They have a wide variety of gluten free mixes from dinners to desserts. All their products taste very good.
  • Jensen's Bread & Bakeries - is another local company that specializes in Gluten Free Bread, Hamburger Buns and Hot Dog Buns. They ship out to grocery stores and restaurants. I have met the owners of this company at our gluten intolerance group and they are such great people.
  • Larabar Snack bars - My favorite is the chocolate bars, yum.

That is just a few off the top of my head, I have a list of my favorite gluten free foods, which most of them Lingonberries Market carries in their store. I have done reviews on some off these gluten free products on my website. Lingonberries also carries gluten free books. One of my favorite things they also carry is Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Flours and Mixes. Lingonberries carries Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Flours in small packages and in large bulk packages. By the way Bob's Red Mill is also another local company in my area.

The employees of Lingonberries market are always friendly, helpful and full of knowledge. One of them is the owner, Christina, she is so sweet. She is also part of our local Gluten Intolerance Group, GIG of SW Washington. I always encourage everyone to find a local Gluten Intolerance Group in their area. It has been indispensable to me for a support system.

So if you are ever in the area or you just happen to live in the same are that I do, I encourage you to stop by Lingonberries Market and check out their great store. I try to go over to the store whenever I can and stock up on my gluten free food.

If you know of a great local store, restaurant, bakery or farmer in your area, make a post about it on your blog and link it to up to
Quick and Easy Cheap and Friendly's New Blog Carnival. The link will always be open for you to add your link to it. Anne will post a new link every Third Thursday of the month.

Gluten-Free & Frugal Cookbook Review & Giveaway

This is a review and giveaway for Gluten-Free and Frugal's Cookbooks. One of my reader's is going to win a copy of "Heather Demeritte's Gluten Free and Dairy Free Cookbook."

Heather Demeritte is the author of three gluten free and dairy free cookbooks and a guide, "Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free for the Frugal and Lazy Cook", "A Gluten-Free Guide: A Letter To My Host", and "Bake Your Cake and Eat It Too." These are the best gluten free cookbooks I have tried so far. The recipes are simple, taste very good and are very healthy. These cookbooks get my highest recommendation. I absolutely love these gluten free cookbooks.

In "Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free for the Frugal and Lazy Cook", Heather features 101 delicious recipes that are simple and inexpensive. This book is perfect for people who are restricted from eating gluten and/or dairy. Very simple recipes and tastes great. I tried the "Quinoa Stuffed Peppers," "Honey Mustard Side Salad" and "Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies." Everything was full off flavor all tasted very delicious. The cookies were the best peanut butter cookies I have ever tried. My family and I ate them up. I highly recommend this cookbook. I give it 5 stars out of 5.

In "A Gluten-Free Guide: A Letter To My Host", If you been invited to dinner, this book quickly educates your host and put them at ease about the preparations required to make your meal enjoyable and safe. Give it to your host, before your next dinner party or planned event so that they will know what to prepare for you to eat. This book gives lots of great tips on what to fix, what the gluten intolerant can and cannot eat. I give "A Gluten Free Guide: A Letter to My Host," 5 stars out of 5.

In "Bake Your Cake and Eat It Too," You can now eat your cake. This cookbook is for those special occasions, dessert with friends, or just having that big glass of vanilla almond milk, sometimes requires a giant piece of cake. Let your home smell of sweet baked goods straight from your own oven. I tried the "The Chocolate Cake Recipe with Chocolate Frosting." The cake was very moist and very tasted very good. I do so love chocolate! The cake recipes can be easily made into cupcakes too. A very good cookbook, these recipes are very simple and taste delicious. I give the "Bake Your Cake and Eat It Too," 5 Stars out 5.
